Zieholtz

So the story is last year Simon, Caleb & Henry did sound for a wedding together, they got $250 for their work. Instead of taking the money and splitting it they decided to go out to dinner. Tuli, Sophia and I also got to come (Josie was working).

We went to Zieholtz a German restaurant and brewery, it's one of our fav places to eat.

Caleb loves German food.

Simon & Caleb shared the sampler platter.

It was also Tuli's birthday so she got a free birthday dinner.

Henry also loves German food.

We had a lovely time and ate heaps!!! We still didn't use up all the money.

Second Post Today

I must start by apologizing for posting twice in one day it has been such a busy week! Our band played three times, we ran home group, worked, band practice twice, art fair, church, went to our friends physical theater performance, got our house ready to put on the market and went to Sydney with my Mum. This post is about the latter.

As many of you know my Mum got cancer in 2008, she is now doing great....but this doesn't mean she gets out of going to the doctors a lot. On Tuesday she had one such appointment in Sydney, doctors aren't fun so I skipped work and went with her.

We didn't do much really, traveling on the bus and seeing the doctor took up most of the time. We did go down to Circular Quay (where to Opera House is) and had a coffee, then we walked around to the Botanical Gardens and had lunch in a cafe.

After lunch we had some time to kill before the appointment so we snoozed in the park, it was the highlight of my day.
Last Sunday I spent the day selling my photos at an art fair.
Below is a picture of my table.

I'm not going to do another one of these, I sold stuff....but it was so boring! I just sat for hours on end.

It also rained and I got very wet. I'm going to stick to the warmth of my house and continue selling online.

Clothes Swap

I helped run a clothes swap last night...now some of you may be thinking that a clothes swap sounds a little bit inappropriate. But I can assure you that there is no nudity involved.

Pretty much myself and a couple of other people from our church run these about three times a year, we thought it would be a great way to serve the community. It started off in Cathy's lounge room but now we have to many people and to many clothes, so we do it at the church.

What you do is bring all your old clothes, shoes and accessories that you don't want and you leave them for other people to take. Then you get to take as much stuff as you want! Being a service thing the people in the church don't take much until the end, we try and leave all the good stuff for visitors.

It was a great night and we will be doing another one in June or July.
